Assessment of the Occupational Structure of Employed in Regions

Since 2008, Russia has been conducting special surveys on the occupational structure of employed in form a federal statistical observation «On number and needs organisations for employees by professional groups». The present study aims to assess data obtained from this 2008–2018, as well compare methodologies Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) International Standard Classification Occupations (ISCO-08). impact such relevant skills emotional intelligence literacy vocational training emergence new professions associated with information economy is discussed. comparative analysis demonstrated that demands highly-qualified specialists all Russian regions. Simultaneously, research revealed impossibility considering specificity regional structures due insufficiency predictive assessments structural changes lack occupations small business financial social insurance sectors.
